Books, FLAM

Come to the book launch. Yes, you!

Hi, ho!

I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog front. Apart from the #caravanryn travel updates of course. Wanna know why? Because I’m planning a book launch. I’ve never done one of these before and it turns out there’s lots of itty bitty logistical things one must throw energy at. One such thing is inviting people to attend. Which I’ve done. But I have thus far failed to cordially invite YOU, my faithful blog subscribers.

So here is your official invite. And I know many of you are from far-flung places and aren’t exactly going to hop on a plane for the occasion, but it’s nice to be invited, right? And for those who CAN make it, gosh I’m looking forward to seeing your lovely faces. It’s gonna be a great time of celebrating what God has brought to fruition.

The details

FLaM (Faith Like a Mushroom) book launch
Saturday October 27, 5pm
Foundry, 22 Cameron Street, Launceston

The book

Is it even a book? THAT is a very good question. My friend has dubbed it a ‘magabook’ which is probably the most truthful description. This devotional-in-magazine-clothing is a melting pot of thoughts and ideas on faith. They are vignettes of life that I hope will help bolster or ignite faith, encourage you to seek God in all aspects of your life, and to ultimately be free!

Be inspired. Be encouraged. Be challenged.

FLaM includes 160 full-colour pages: 60+ articles and 30+ illustrations by me, and 10 faith stories of local people. The RRP is $16.50, and you can head to my SHOP to find out how you can get your hands on your own copy if you’re unable to attend the launch event.

Another cool thing

100% of profits from FLaM will go to charitable causes. I’ve chosen Emily’s Voice and a family serving the people of Uganda as recipients of proceeds. Yay!

The flyer

This is the book launch flyer and I’m including it here in case you want to tell your large and influential networks that they should be there. Thank you.

Thank you Claire for the invitation.
At the moment I am inundated with grandparent duties and child number 3 returning to live in Tasmania. He and his family will be living with us until they find a home!
There is nothing I would love more than to attend your book launch. If I am unable to attend I wish you every success, which is what you deserve.
There is so much evil going on in the world at the moment but God is shining His bright light through you. Keep up the excellent work you are doing.
Sending love and prayers to you.

    • Thank you Maria! I appreciate that so much 🙂 If I don’t see you there, I wish you all the best with the season of change ahead. What fun, living as one big family for a bit!
      Many blessings!
